About Us

Established in 2023, Gale Community Services, L.L.C. was founded by Amber Popovitz-Gale, Psy.D., and her husband, Michael Gale, BSN, RN, to address the need for a testing-focused mental health private practice in Central Florida. Dr. Popovitz-Gale oversees the clinical aspects, while Michael manages scheduling and essential tasks. Although testing is the primary focus, the practice also offers individual therapy, consultation, and supervision services.

Dr. Popovitz-Gale is a licensed psychologist, authorized to practice interjurisdictional telepsychology (APIT). She is licensed in Florida, Indiana, and Iowa (FL: PY10793, IN: 20043797A, IA: 115554, and PsyPact APIT: 15689). She is also a Qualified Supervisor for registered mental health counselor interns.

How are therapy and testing services provided?

Dr. Popovitz-Gale provides therapy services via telehealth normally. Testing and evaluation services are normally provided in our office. We use Doxy.me. and Simple Practice for our telehealth services. Click the button below to request an appointment.

Can I use my health insurance?

We are in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Tricare East, and other payors. Please note that psychological testing or evaluations may not be covered services.

If you have one of the mentioned insurance carriers, our Administrator, Michael, will seek authorization for testing and inform you of any costs before scheduling.

What type of payment methods do you accept?

We accept checks and most major credit cards. You can pay your invoice online via email or through the Simple Practice Portal.
